WOMEN'S GUILD meeting this month has been CANCELLED. Our next
scheduled meeting is April 13th. And don't forget to attend our craft day
on March 22nd at 10:30 where we'll be making items from the donated
jewelry. Bring a sack lunch and also needle nose pliers and regular
pliers if you have some. All women are welcome - it should be fun!
Come with more ideas to craft that we can sell at the Bazaar.

me, shine through me every day of my life.”
THANKS
for all of your donations for our toiletry bag project for the needy and
homeless. We are currently running very low on the little travel-size
shampoos that go into the bags. So, if you have some in your cabinets
that you can spare, we’d sure appreciate it. Just put them into the
box in the vestibule of the church. (Note: other items are always
appreciated too, of course.) If you have any questions about the project,
call Charlie Brennan at 268-4010 for details.

SAINT OF THE MONTH St. John of God, born around 1495, was never content to
observe suffering without taking steps to offer help. Consequently, he founded
a hospital that ministered to the poor and unwanted of society. He often acted
upon what others saw as impulse, but what he perceived as being the urgent need
to remedy a bad situation. He is the patron saint of firefighters because he
once emerged from a burning hospital unharmed; he is also the patron of
booksellers, printers, heart patients, hospitals, nurses and the sick. He is
considered to be the founder of the Brothers Hospitallers.
